Behind the Hammer
Hammered & Handmade started out as J & J Custom Steel back in 2008. It’s just Uly Johnson here, making bits, spurs, and whatever metal projects come through the shop. He uses a mix of old-school forging and the tools that get the job done right, focusing on solid work over fancy tricks.
Everything that leaves this shop is built with care, meant to be used, and made to hold up. Nothing flashy - just honest, dependable metalwork from someone who’s been at it a long time.
